gramowar
I'd rather not play schnieder four times a year. TB seems like a logical destination. It's no secret Stevie Y covets the schniederman. Wouldnt mind seeing a guy like Brett Connolly in a nucks jersey
stexx
since 2000, there has been by my count 10 impact nhl players and two above average players ( dipietro 2000, and johnson 2006) obviously dipietro is injury prone but when he has healthy he was on his way to be a top10 goalie in the nhl. Those are pretty good odds at what your getting for a 1st overall pick in the nhl. For a team like the canucks the ability to have the chance to draft an 18year old that could set your franchise up for the next 10years is extremely enticing and would be hard to turn down. MJDDawg
IMO, Schneider and our first plus another prospect, could get this years number one, but I dont think the top 3 this year are worth giving up our first and Schneider for
UFCanuck
Gillis makes bold moves, Bure 2.0 might be the boldest.
Ktakatch
Why would we trade for a 1st pick and guess instead of someone who allready rapes right now
VancouverStyle
never would the nucks give up that much.

Mr.DirtyDangles
No way we trade a guy that is a starter on any team for an unproven draft pick . Case closed !
smurf47
Gillis believes in building the team from the goal out....and with Luongo and his alterego Luongo #2...ya never know whos going to show up...Schneids gives a predictable and consistant product every night... If so many fans still believe in LOu...then he;d be great trade bait....Then we;d have a great goalie...and a great pick...a no lose situation. The Colt 45s
Why would we want a first round pick. As long as AV is coach, they will "never" get a chance.
Versace
I would honestly rather trade him for the second overall pick and draft Grigerenko.
ahf149
Columbus would be a great fit for Cory, they arent a threat to Vancouver for missing the playoffs lol. He would be a STAR there, and he deserves it. If we could get the first for Cory, frig ya!! DO IT!

Ballisticsports.
I hate to give up a Young Goaltender with a Bright long future we spent time grooming and has turned out solid. Too bad we couldnt trade the Older "Established" Goalie instead like Boston will do) Maybe if He were to sit in Playoffs,he would demand it ? ( Just kidding of course, because His stock would be pretty low then,if we did)
