komodo1970
As I was reading the discontented comments in the talk section, a ludicrous thought snuck into my brain. If the Canucks fail to make a successful run this year; Would a serious team shake up be in order? If the Sedins falter in the playoffs; would anyone consider dealing them for, say, a Rick Nash and CBJs first over all pick? Or any other mammoth deal for that matter. I know their no trade clauses would affect any deal made and Columbus would'nt be one of their top choices but does anyone think MG would look at this come draft day and free agency? As I said, a ludicrous thought but I have to ask.
Spitfire_Spiky
I could see a major shake-up if we continue to play the way we have and get eliminated early in the playoffs. However i don't think the Sedins would be the focus of the shake-up.

CanucksBen
If they Sedins don't play well in the playoff's why the hell would CBJ give us Nash AND there pick???? And the Sedins have donated so much to Vancouver and are great for the community, they will retire Canucks

Pears
I would have done a Hodgson, Schneider, Tanev 1st for Nash and a 1st at the draft, but guess that ain't happening anymore...

Burnsey
The Sedins are the face of this franchise. I would like to say they would never be traded but Linden was the face of the franchise in the 90's before the trade. IMO as long as the Sedins are playing well and carrying this team to a playoff berth like they do every year, they will stay and hopefully retire as Canucks. There will be a point where we will see the numbers 22 and 33 hang in the rafters next to 19, 16 and 12.
