Provost
I am trying to remember an old song that used to play at Canucks games in the 80's and 90's because I think it has an appropriate sentiment to those newer fans that maybe don't appreciate how nice it is to have a winning team. Does anyone recall this and what it was called? It started something like: "Oh, I am a loyal hockey fan... I love the Vancouver Canucks, they may not win the hockey game, but they're always worth the bucks" ... and it goes on to say something like "we may only win a game or two, but we always win the fights" Googled, and can't find it. AllHailSmyl
Good luck. Even the diehard fans erased everything from the 80's besides the 82 Cup Final run, Tanti's 45 goal season and the 89 Flames series with that kicked in OT goal by Joel Otto. Demo250
O, I'm a loyal hockey fan, I love the Vancouver Canucks, And I don't care if they lose, They're always worth th'bucks. If they stumble, If they grumble, And if they fumble-the-pucks, I'm a loyal hockey fan, I love the Vancouver Canucks! All I could find on it... no song title though. Sorry, best I could do. Provost
Might be by a guy named "Black Bart"... saw a reference to it online from Peter Tessier, though it could be wrong.
The Sedin's 6th Sense
Can someone find the audio to this please? Seems like it'll be hard, but I've never heard this before and would love to, thanks if anyone can
Demo250
I looked again and I'm convinced this song is not on the internet, amazing right? I have some more info on it though - apparently it is on the "Larry and Willy 10th Anniversary CD." Now the bad news, I can't find anything about this CD either. Heck, at this point your best bet may be to contact Larry and Willy and see what they can do. They used to always play it on CFOX back in the day from what I found. They are doing radio for Jack now. Here's an interesting song I found though, apparently it was created after our divisional win in '75. lol.

ChuckNORRIS4Cup
This may not be the one your looking for, but it is still a classic in the 90's!
Provost
Larry and Willy sent it to me! Well at least a clip of it, because I remember at least one more verse that had to do with us losing games but always winning the fights.
