Kovalsnipe
According to my inside source, Mike Gillis initially accepted an offer of Luongo + Raymond + Tanev for Bolland + Leddy, but Luongo wouldn't waive his ntc to go to Chicago. Florida's offer of Howden + 2nd is probably the most we're going to get, as Lu won't waive his ntc to go anywhere else.
hudson bay rules
Curious as to which way Luongo's mental flip flops would go regarding playing us. Methinks he'd try too hard and fail miserably.

King of the ES
Why would Luongo and Raymond win cups with Chicago when they couldn't even do it on a Presidents Trophy winning team?

Bodee
Why would Luongo and Raymond win cups with Chicago when they couldn't even do it on a Presidents Trophy winning team? They can both go to Chicago right now as far as I'm concerned. Let the Blackhawks have the pleasure of watching Raymond trip over the blueline and see how they enjoy being on the wrong side of one of Luongo's meltdowns. Big Time
The problem with trading Luongo to Chicago is that whatever you get back from them will not sufficiently weaken them enough to offset how much better Luongo will make them. That's why you should never trade in your own conference unless it's to a clearly inferior team.

Riviera82
I would have thought it was obvious. Firstly Chicago know how to protect their goalies. Secondly a fit Raymond would excel in a passing team especially when fully fit.
riffraff
Yeah. This is why Chicago lost in the first round to a Phoenix team that doesn't score, didn't record a single shutout during the entire 2011/12 season, got blown out by Edmonton twice by 9-2 and 8-4 scores, and finished 8th in 2010/11. Just to name a few.
