(these totals are compiled without the bonus cushion)

SALARY CAP: $70,200,000; CAP PAYROLL: $67,240,000; BONUSES: $0

CAP SPACE (23-man roster): $2,960,000

im not crazy about arnott at the 3rd line center for one reason and thats because kesler is gonna be getting the other teams best players night in and night out....pahlsson helped take the load off and i dont think arnott at age 37 can help kes out in that department but maybe he can

p.s im doing a nhl 12 gm mode with this team and we are ripping it up. doan looks really good wearing number 91 in the green and blue :bigblush: ...but garrison doesnt fit number 5, everytime i see him i think its ehrhoff.....WEAR #52 JASON!!!!

Agree with the previous comments regarding the Luongo to Chicago trade.

Doan will likely want more than $5 million per.

I'd be okay with Arnott being here for one year, mostly as a "just in case" Kesler isn't ready for the start of the season. I suspect he would also be valuable come playoff time. He'd probably want more than $2 million per, but I guess we'll see what the market-place brings him by way of contract offers.

Who/what did the Canucks get for Ballard and Raymond? What happened to Kassian, Ebbett, Volpatti and Pinizotto?

There looks like there's not a huge amount of "grit" in that line-up, or if it is, it's with guys you'd prefer didn't do a lot of fighting, or, it's in guys who won't be on the ice all that often to be able to do any fighting.
