Any man that size that can perform a moonsault better than some cruiserweights should be in the Hall of Fame. I felt the WWE didn't utilize him properly when he was there. Shawn Michaels was the special guest on this weeks edition of The Ross Report, hosted by Jim Ross, and the subject of WWE wanting Michaels to return to the company in an in-ring capacity came up. When asked by JR if WWE might try to get guys like him and Steve Austin to appear at WrestleMania 32 since its in Texas, Michaels answered by simply saying Ive already had an offer. Ive enjoyed being retired. An offer to appear at WrestleMania 32 is apparently not the only thing WWE has asked Michaels, as HBK revealed he has also been asked to be a part of the WWE creative team. It wouldnt be a great fit for me, Michaels admitted. Thered be a lot of stifling going on. Ive been able to sway them on things other people couldnt. Id be open to the Pat Patterson gig, where you have a couple of projects and you could write in from home about it. Regarding why WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was sent home from the recent WWE European tour, a WWE source stated to PWInsider that Bryan is indeed injured. Bryan reportedly suffered an injury on April 9th at a WWE live event in Dublin, Ireland as he teamed with Dolph Ziggler and Erick Rowan to defeat Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett. We're not exactly sure what happened to him but there was an injury in that match that got him sent home. When Bryan was first sent home, WWE officials expected him to be out of the ring for about a month. No word yet if that time-frame has changed but there's a chance they change Sunday's Extreme Rules match against Barrett. Gamers who buy the PC version on the first day it's released will receive immediate access to two version of Sting and two of Hulk Hogan. DLC content for the game will be released later in the spring and will be free. DLC includes the WCW and NXT packs, as well as the additional 2K Showcase modes such as One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior. WWE United States Champion and cover star John Cena commented on the DLC content being free: "One of the great bonuses of getting the game on PC is that you get nearly all of the downloadable content that was released after WWE 2K15 launched in October free, as part of the package. That’s an incredible amount of content: 36 extra characters, 4 new managers, 26 matches, 46 entire single player stories and cut scenes in 2K Showcase, and a whole lot more. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that that’s a pretty awesome deal." Cena also commented on the game finally coming to the PC: "I grew up playing games on my PC. As we have noted in the past few weeks, there have been issues reportedly between the WWE and Stone Cold Steve Austin. However, regardless of those issues, Vince is ready to invest in a match featuring Austin at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas next year. The Chairmans idea is to go ahead with The Rock vs Brock match at the grandest stage next year unless he can get Austin into the picture. Austin is said to be a long shot but if they can get him to agree to a deal, Vince is interested in doing Austin vs. Lesnar first and save Rock vs. Brock for a future date. If the Texas Rattlesnake does wrestle, WWE will be left with the option of Triple H vs Rock which is one of the reasons why The Game was put over Sting at WM 31 to make him look stronger and push the match as the bigger match over Sting vs. The Undertaker, if both were to take place next year. Its been noted how Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon would likely be involved in Rock vs.Triple H if they werent able to work their own singles match. Another similar angle thats been discussed is if they do Rock vs. Brock next year, is to have Rousey in Rocks corner and Heyman in Lesnars corner. It should be noted that many variables can change what theyre thinking this far out but Vince is working on plans for next year and is confident they have enough star-power to fill AT&T Stadium.
