But our defensive stopper 3rd line misses Rafi, his size and hell bent mentality; which created an ability to match up positively against lines like Marleau / Thornton and Lucic ; Krecji (who did not beat us). We currently do not match up as well defensively, bottom line, without Rafi! And for all that effort Higgins is known for; where was he versus L.A.? Dirt Nasty Posted October 12, 2012 Share Posted October 12, 2012 I'm as down as the next guy for trading Raymond, but this thread has gone full retard when you suggested trading Booth, I thought he played awesome this year despite being on a new NHL team, which is a first for him having played his entire career thus far for Florida, then just as the guy is getting chemistry with his linemates he is derailed by injury; and even despite that injury when he returned he still played pretty decent. Booth, Hansen and Higgins are 3 unsung heroes on this team, every shift they give it their all, and I wouldnt consider trading any of those guys because of their hard work. Booth to Detroit for Todd Bertuzzi and the one and only Brenden Morrison..just kidding.. It is the Florida Panthers we are talking about - cap space is a non-issue - they always have galaxies of cap space - but you might say they are a budget conscious team haha - which has a bottomless pool of emerging prospects to pay in the near future...
