Kooner91
To Philly: Roberto Luongo Jordan Schroeder Mason Raymond To Van: Sean Couturier Philly 2013 1st round pick Why Vancouver does this? The canucks get a legit young superstar in the making in Couturier. He is big, strong, and has a great 2 way game. We also get a late pick in a deep draft pool. Why Philly does this? Philly now buys out Bryzgalov, and gets a reliable, elite goaltender in Luongo. They also get a prospect to replace Couturier, although not to the same skill level as him, and they get a winger that can play on any line. Patrick Jane
Didnt the GM of philly shut down the rumours of even being interested in lu?
Trebreh
I dont think Holmgren would trade Couturier for Luongo straight up let alone add a 1st with him. Raymond doesnt even crack the Flyers top 6 i think.. how about this. Luongo + Gaunce for Couturier + 3rd 2013 They fix their goaltending issue and get a nice centre with a potential to be a very good 3rd line centre for them in the future. We get our future #1 Centre when the Twins retire.
Black Mountain
If Philly is in on the Luongo trade it is not so they get Luongo. It has been mentioned on CDC that maybe a 3 way deal with TO is in the works. I can see Gardiner being a fit in Philly That would make sense to me I don't see us wanting a D-man back especially with all the rumored D-man coming to Van on try outs Barker Vandemeer Kostopoulos Who we would get back not really sure..... Can Read play centre?
