Edlerberry
Kesler is a CENTER, and as soon you fracks start realizing that, the better it is for all of us. You don't have to be a playmaker to play the middle of the ice and the guy is a ???? SELKE winner at CENTER, he's one of the best players to put on a Canucks jersey he has the right to stay where he is comfortable on the ice. Sick of this crap. rambo1515
Centers are generally the most well rounded players on the team. They need to have good vision, prefect positioning, strong defensive skills and an ability to propell the offence. This is what makes Kesler such a good center. He is the best defensive forward on the team yet has the skating ability and shot to make an impact offensively as well. Kesler may lack Roy's vision, but he is a force in the middle. This is why you always hear teams saying they want size down the middle. It opens the ice up. Selke nomminees are almost always centers. That being said, Roy is also a great center because of his vision and puck skills. He's actually realy surprised me with his defensive play as well. The bottom line is that both guys are great at center, and either of them can play on the wing. It doesnt take much for a center to move to the wing. A wing to center is much more difficult.
