Legend Killer
Habs were a pleasant surprise this year, Canucks were a huge disappointment.
Bigturk8
Canucks lose in San Jose. No Canucks fan were there to cheer them on.
higgyfan
Pretty easy to be gracious when you have 24 Stanley Cup banners hanging in the rafters.
TheFastOne21
Game 7 of the 2011 SCF: After the Bruins win and a few seconds of "oh s**t we just lost" go by the fans begin cheering very loudly and the Go Canucks Go chants start and remain during the entire Bruins celebration. The only pause? To boo Bettman. Game 6 2010 loss to CHI: As soon as the video ends the dude posted above the fans start cheering for the Canucks. Game 5 of 2012 loss to LAK: Fans started cheering for the Canucks as the game ended..... Props to the Habs fans but anyone suggesting we dont do the same is a little off their rocker
mbal23
Totally different scenario. The Canucks had bigger post season expectations than the Canadiens who nobody expected to be in the playoffs.

Bodee
How many of the Habs are on big/long NTC contracts............Maybe that is why they cheered. Habs 6 players $24M/ Canucks 8 players $38.7M/ Other 6 long contracts (3yrs or more) $15.4M/................that's almost $54M on 14 players. Blues 4 players $19M/ Other 2 long contracts $8M/ 10 on 1/2 years and 12 on ELC.................and yet they are standing toe to toe with LA. Bodee
It's been said a few times that players stay here and take a hometown discount. A NTC is thrown in instead of cash. Not denying it doesn't make trades extremely difficult.
