Otis
The future of the Canucks is much much brighter today. We lost nothing in goal and we added a guy that is going to be a captain and two way stud. Not to mention Shinkaruk dropped into our laps. Good day for Canucks nation
Strombone1
how far along are these two guys from being NHL ready? who would play first, Jensen or Hovrat?
Otis
how far along are these two guys from being NHL ready? who would play first, Jensen or Hovat? Horvat is NHL ready. He has a NHL body and has the ability to play at both ends. I'd give Jensen one more year to develop and have him in our top-6 the following season

I'd give Jensen one more year to develop and have him in our top-6 the following season I don't think Horvat will play yet. One more year to develop his offensive game. Wouldn't be surprised if Gaunce competes though.
Primal Optimist
Jensen, Gaunce, Horvat, Shinkaruk in the pipe, I bet we see 2 of them this year, possibly all four for at least a few games. Tanev is still shaping up very well for the back end. Me'thinks we go Dman/goalie with the next couple

Buddhas Hand
I might just be the only fan on the boards right now that loves how this lockout season has gone. Bye Bye AV, Keeping Lu, got a fantastic young centerman in the system, cleared out some cap space, brought in the most entertaining coach in the league today, and one who has a cup and a Jack Adams (*jack adams not won by his allstar goaltender either, suck it AV)..and many more awesome bits to my fanyear. #GMMGplayinforkeeps I am very happy AV is gone and that we are keeping Lou , I will reserve judgement on Torts , gotta say I am not a fan of hot headed abusive coaches , I hope he modifies his style somewhat. da.moose
Congratulations to Frederik Gauthier on being drafted 21st overall to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Very disappointed that the Jets didn't take him. (Or basically any other team in the league for that matter ) On the bright side they will likely develop him slowly and properly.
