Blues Roster update next Week

we kinda have 3 3rd lines or 1 2nd and 2 3rd and 1 4th or what?

Defenders collecting Points but we still not pleased with Ehrhoff and Gorges.

Gelinas cooled down...Volchenkov with some important Points lately.

Gryba and Holden solid but could be better.

We have 2 Goalies though...lol

The Blues are pleased with the Last week. Missed the 200 points Mark again but 185 points were enough to finish the week as 14th. Further we are currently 19th this month. Mentionable Players besides Mason and Legwand this week were Joey Vitale Michael Raffl and lately acquired Karri Ramo.

Some stats will follow tomorrow...

MSG NEWS 2013

Prospect In Focus:

Colton Sceviour. Very few folks will know the AHL(Affiliate Hockey League, lol) season leading scorer, but Colton Sceviour has quietly gone about his fifth season with the Dallas Stars organization in a very productive way. 18 goals in 26 games with the Texas Stars is quite a feat, but in depth there is a similar story to every season. Last year 52 points in 62 games...the year before 53 in 75, and before that 41 in 77. In his rookie AHL year Colton put in 9 goals and added another 8 points in the playoffs! The old gold standard of Detroit Rookies building their skills over many years of AHL time has proven out for this multifaceted skater.

Not one to rest on his laurels or minor league achievements, Colton Sceviour, a native of Red Deer Alberta, scored in his first game of the season at the highest level last night. Dallas seems to want him to feature on the Power Play, since in just his third career big league game Colton registered over 2 and a half minutes of PP ice time. Oddly enough he scored at even strength, which is another testament to his versatility.

Colton scored a hat trick in the preseason this year, and was sent down to the minors anyway, and it paid off for the patient club.

Look to see Colton Sceviour make his GML Rangers debut Monday the 16th at 6pm Pacific Time!

A hard worker, Sceviour is a 200-foot player. Has both playmaking and shooting ability. Finishes his checks and can play a physical game.

NEWS

Colton Sceviour has waited patiently for his chance, and he could be getting it on the Dallas Stars' power play.

Dallas Morning News

IMPACT

Being a callup from the minors in just your third NHL game typically means you'll get a few minutes on the fourth line, but Sceviour was moved right onto the power play Saturday in a 6-4 win in Winnipeg. It makes sense, since he leads the AHL in scoring with 18 goals in 26 games, including six power-play goals. He didn't score on the power play Saturday, but he did score his first NHL goal on a third-period breakaway. "He's had a lot of success down there, and we could use a bit of help there," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "We feel we're getting close, and maybe he can help push us over the top." Sceviour has plenty of experience. The native of Red Deer, Alberta, was drafted 112th overall by the Stars in 2007 and is playing his fifth year in the organization. Sceviour, 24, has scored 21 goals in each of the previous two AHL seasons, so he's off to a much quicker start.

Waivers: The New York Rangers waive Jack Skille for the purpose of assigning him to the AHL (Affiliate Hockey League) Connecticut Whale.

Blue Jackets reassign Jack Skille to AHL team | 12/14/2013 4:03 PM

NEWSJack Skille has been returned to AHL Springfield.

Columbus Dispatch

IMPACT

The team has just 12 healthy forwards on the roster now, but Marian Gaborik could be close to returning. Skille has two goals in seven outings with Columbus this campaign.

Recall: The New York Rangers have called up Colton Sceviour (Once Skille is assigned to the minors)

Colton will make his CDCGML Rangers debut Monday night and may get a look on the PP. The Rangers have been searching for an answer to Ryan Malone's injury and this just might be it. Sorry potential trade partners.....
