The President of Hockey Operations oversees all aspects of the hockey side of the business. Players (all 50 under contract regardless of what level), Scouting, coaches, management, farm clubs, support staff such as trainers, doctors and equipment staff. For the Canucks Victor DeBonis takes care of all business related operations such as ticket pricing, sales, luxury suites, concession sales ect.

A much better answer than mine, thanks!

I hope I am not being mean by keeping the Caps from clinching just yet, but with roughly 75 points, it is conceiveable that there is a flip, odds are very good that they make the playoffs however. The Real battle is the Canes and the Penguins..WOW, down to the razors edge!

I haven't clinched.

The Caps are continuing to battle. I don't only track my own team's stats, but also track the stats of the Canes and Pens players every night.

Three more days of games followed by awards... then I can finally breathe again.

I should have also mentioned that PO was right when it came to Gillis. He was doing some of the business stuff with Debonis. When Linden took the job they made it strictly hockey related for him and business related for Debonis.
