Up to 100,000 people have been evacuated. Most are living with strangers who have opened their homes to the evacuees, while the others are in hotels, and rec centers. hockeyville88 Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Sounds like a lot of valuable memorabilia in the Saddledome will be lost in the flood. And the jumbotron had been lowered to floor-level so that it busted as well. Not sure why they would leave it down there knowing that a flood was likely in the area. Good luck to all... Alberta Environment has advised of this morning that the expected flow of the South Saskatchewan River will reach 6,000 cubic meters per second by 6 p.m. Saturday June 22, 2013.
