Nas19
He'll be a 38 year old making 3.75 per year. And he'll be a checker whose legs will be slowing down. I like Dupuis as a player but he has most definitely benefited from who he has played with. It would surprise me if he ever gets over 55 points again even playing with Crosby. It's a deal but it's not a great deal. That's just my opinion. In Pittsburgh's situation I can't understand how this is a good move.

Baka
Not bad. A few long term concerns (but then again what team has won a cup being consistently conservative?). Though Pittsburgh's money management has them pretty much running the same roster out there next season and leaves very little wiggle room with the core players year after year. We will see if they can somehow manage different results with the same faces.
themcdeal
3.75 is very fair, but a 4 year term? Yikes
Patrick Kane
Better then Burrows contract.
boxiebrown
Their cap situation in 2014-2015 is going to be extremely interesting. They might be looking at something like playing 4 ELCs on defense. And their forward prospects are pretty lacking. They better hope the cap goes up a damn lot.

oldnews
I think he's a bigger priority than any of their costly rentals... so who can blame them for showing him the money. 4 years is pretty generous, but at least he squeaks under the 35+ terms. a Fool
The Letang signing makes this a bad signing. Dupuis is a warrior and a player I'd love to have but just look at Pitts cap situation in 2 years... 38M on 6 players. Akimbo deagle to the feet.
