If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did." The way they probably see it is, that this is just the beginning, and there's a lot more work to do to get into the NHL. There's a reason why they are both big time Leaders/Captains in junior. We are far more than just a goalie graveyard. Sadly, over the past few seasons we've been having some blemishes with how we treat our regulars as well. I remember they interviewed his family after last years draft and not one of them seemed happy. I think OP is on to something. Mind you, he did sign the contract with Van.
