-Vintage Canuck-
I would rather get a RW'er as the Canucks look pretty weak on the right compared to the left. Unless a player like Pacioretty is capable of player either wing. Maybe Boyes from FA?

Pears
Would love to get Pacioretty but realistically Montreal won't trade him. Maybe depending on how much they value Jordan Subban.

harmer
We downgrade on D, I'm not sold on tinordi, he is more defensive then offensive and we don't need that. Montreal is fine on D and need scoring, they wouldn't trade away their best forward (arguably) and get a similar player that won't help them for at least 3 years. The trade doesn't make sense for either team. And we give up a 1st? I wouldn't do it even without the 1st.

Alex Burrows 14
Montreal has like 9 top 6 forwards and they need dman because they do not have enough top 4 guys.I would do that trade because we need scoring and Pacioretty can score
Alex Burrows 14
Tinordi is big and strong and can clear out the front of the net.We need that type of d-man.Plus he fights. And Jensen is nhl ready, he can help now .Why 3 years? and the 1st rounder is the sweeten the deal we don't need a 1st in 2014 after the way we drafted this year. Pears
They need scoring. Pacioretty is their scoring. And markov, subban, gorges, diaz. Done. With tinordi and beaulieu coming up. They're fine. No scoring.

CanucksFanMike
This deal isn't bad value wise but I wouldn't do it..... I think Edler will respond well to Tortarella and Jensen could become a similar player to Pacioretty in the future if he pans out. I really like what I have seen from him thus far and I believe he is on the right path to being a real productive power forward for us.
qwijibo
They have: Pacioretty Plekanec Galchenyuk Gallagher Briere Gionta Eller Desharnais Subban Markov Gorges for scoring. I can't believe you're saying Montreal needs scoring, they have plenty of it. And Diaz is not, I repeat, NOT a top 4 defenseman, I don't know why some people think that.
