Offensive Threat
Prison sentence for that? A fine would've been enough. Talk about overreactions. It's not particularly funny but I don't find the shirt offensive either.

Salmonberries
Maybe next time they can do a holocaust or a slavery-themed joke. They seem like real cutups to me!
Salmonberries
Folks are just too uptight. Need to loosen up! Jihad, born on 9/11, terrorism joke, I mean what's there not to laugh about here.

-DLC-
It shows nothing but parental immaturity when parents use their kids as props, even if intended as comedic smart assery. Screams attention mongers if nothing else...I guess they got it?

La Mauviette75
I thought freedom of speech and expression was a sacred tenet of the free world. EDIT: As someone who understands Arabic, I hate the demonization of the word jihad. I'm sure their intention was to refer to terrorist attacks but if that's all you know about the word, educate yourself
VICanucksfan5551
Not really. many if not most democracies have restricted free speech, including the US (though less restricted than places like france). For example in the US you can't shout 'fire!' in a crowded theater, can't scream at the top of your lungs at 3 AM, can't publish a slanderous lie about someone, can't wear an obscene t shirt etc.... France takes it a little further and denying the holocaust, inciting violence, or making racist remarks can be punished for instance.

La Mauviette75
Ah. Yet that idiot who made that dumb movie about Muhammad even though it incited hatred and was racist was piggy backed by everyone here as they told the Muslims to "lighten up" so to speak. It's just a movie Likewise, it's just a shirt.

Salmonberries
What transgressions and "jokes" against Muslims post 9/11 did you react this strongly to? Stay consistent and impartial. I didn't say what they did was okay but I find the moral outrage by others of this to be an overreaction
