Jai604 Posted September 29, 2013 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Selke - Kesler has a shot, as always. Needs a big year offensively to be considered because that's how the award works. Vezina - Lu has an outside shot at it, and considering he wants to make the Olympic team in Sochi, and is playing under Torts' system (which benefits goaltenders) it's not outside the realm of possibility. Lady Byng - Either Sedin has a chance at this one, but Henrik especially needs to stop taking hooking minors, haha. Edler always seems to sniff around the Norris at some point in the year, but never has really broken through to that top tier of NHL defensemen. Maybe this is the year? Kesler for the Selke because they'll have a good second line, Lu for Vezina has an outside chance, Crosby stays healthy, he's probably a lock for Scoring and MVP. Sedin's outside shot at Lady Byng. When he is on he is a much more complete defenseman than Karlsson or Letang. He has a better shot and is much more imposing on his own end.
