moveable assests?

Recommended Posts

the Canucks have a lot of tough decisions on the horizon, and if they want to "retool" fast, they are going to have to move some of the core. Now I know a lot of people on the site/radio/tv and everywhere else seem to think the obvious choices are Kesler, and or Edler. Now I understand both have no trade clauses which means they would have to waive them in order for us to trade them. Now here's my question. Say Edler and Kesler both refuse to waive there no-trades. Who is the next most moveable asset? For me at forward it has to be Hansen, Burrows(really hope not Burrows) and with Stanton coming in and Frankie coming along does it not seem that Tanev would be the one to move. Does a package of Hansen, Tanev, and a pick to say Edmonton for there 3rd pick this year, not seem a viable trade? Really my question is who do you feel is the most tradable asset if players with no-trades refuse to waive them?

Technically the most movable assets would be Jensen/ Horvat/ Kassian/ Shinkaruk/ Corrado...

Anyways realistically I think it has to be Tanev. Young D with Top-4 upside and stable play on cheap contract so far. Then it depends on whether Hansen and Burr would want to waive their NTC's, and what return Booth could get.

Brace yourselves, a long off-season is coming.
