Bad call... bad call...

60.1 High-sticking - A “high stick” is one which is carried above the height of the opponent’s shoulders. Players and goalkeepers must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player or goalkeeper is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion. A wild swing at a bouncing puck would not be considered a normal windup or follow through and any contact to an opponent above the height of the shoulders shall be penalized accordingly.

So what part of the above states that a stick that contacts a shoulder is a penalty, since it specifically references "above the height of the shoulders" ergo the shoulder itself sets the height .. brilliant wording.

Pray tell .. are you perhaps missing the obvious? .. or are you stoned? ..

Fun period to watch. Pace died down a bit after the first few minutes, but there was no way either team was gonna keep that kind of end to end action going.

Woulda been nice to see the Habs get that 2nd goal....great save by Rask

It was a wild swing at the puck and it contacted Eriksson.. what's so hard to understand?
