johngould21
...and you know this, how???? Just because he worked for Letterman, didn't mean that CBS was going to promote him to the Late Show. He would have stewed in that time slot, with CBS calling the shots more often. Craigs' Xfactor wouldn't have allowed him to do what he did on the LLS. From CBC.ca: "The move was no surprise after CBS announced that Stephen Colbert will replace Letterman next year. There was a time that Ferguson, whose show won a Peabody Award in 2009, was considered a strong contender for that job." Source: http://www.cbc.ca/news/arts/craig-ferguson-leaving-the-late-late-show-1.2625232 From DailyNews.com: "But his (Ferguson's) contract has a clause that pays him as much as $10 million if he did not get Letterman’s job when the legendary comic retired." Source:http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/craig-ferguson-stay-cbs-2015-article-1.1754069 Put it all together and its pretty straightforward. CBC.ca commenting on a CBS program, doesn't sound very straightforward to me. Aside from that though, I don't think Ferguson would like that time slot at all. He loves messing with the stoners. Tearloch7
I would not be at all surprised to see Craig re-surface doing something absolutely different but even more brilliant .. he was a better man when he was still a Scot, tho ..
Tearloch7
Still think Kimmel is the best out of all the late night talk shows currently anyways. Sometimes Jimmy's 'smarm' wears thin, but he does some crazy funny stuff.

Toni Zamboni
never was a fan, so im not disappointed. i think Seth Myers will be canned, he is not good at all....although it did take Conan a couple years to get really good.
