DRAFT ROOM opens up tomorrow and draft starts at 6pm PST WED SEPTEMBER 3RD. Make sure you're in the draft room so the system doesn't automatically draft for you.

Go to RANK PLAYERS in the screen shot below and set your list so the system can auto draft based on your system for you should you miss your pick.

Free Agent Claim System:
Shapheat FHL uses a bidding system to claim Free Agents, within a given budget. All teams must enter a bid amount for Free Agents they wish to claim. On the days that the bids are processed, players are awarded to the teams that bid the highest on them, given that they have enough money remaining in their Free Agent Acquisition Budget (FAAB).

Free Agent bids are processed on SUNDAYs at 12AM PST.
Lowest ranked team in the standings wins the bid in case of equal bids.

Free Agent Acquisition Budget of $6,000,000 per team.
Free Agent Bid Increment of $50,000.
Minimum Free Agent Bid of $500,000.
-

Anyone else feel like we should increase the FAAB budget per team? I don't think it seems fair to have a budget if a team has more than $6M cap space and wants to outbid others but can't. What do you guys think?

Wait so we have to have the draft room open for like a month?

No you should get an email from fantrax or a PM or a post in this thread that it's your turn. If you don't have a list the system picks for you beat available player. If you do have one the it picks the first available player on your Ranked Players list. This is so it doesn't punish you for missing your pick and skips you all together.

We can revise time spent picking after the first three rounds. Depending on how it goes.

Are you talking about an unlimited budget? I don't think that would work. It would be "free money" if you will and I can't see GMs watching their unlimited budget and just drive up player salaries higher than the cap eventually.
