Coconuts
Nice, depth in goal is a great thing to have. I'd like to see him get more starts with Utica next season though. Markstrom must be on his way out.
BOHORVAT53
No place for Markstrom to play now.. Strange because he is better then Cannata, and probably better then Eriksson as well.. Whoever has more trade value between he and Eriksson will probably be dealt for a 3rd pick.. Does anyone know if Markstrom has to clear waivers Perhaps this is an option: Trade: Eddie Lack Jannik Hansen or Chris Higgins (They need to take on some salary) Frank Corrado or Ryan Stanton (Gaunce or Cassels if they prefer a young forward instead) 2nd Round pick 2014 FOR Tyler Myers *If the reason Tanev isnt signed yet is because he wants over 3.5mil, trade Tanev and Lack for Myers Replace Higgins or Hansen on 3rd line with: *Sign Steve Ott if we have 3 mil *SIgn Setoguchi, Penner, Roy, Stempniak, or Winnik if we only have 2 mil *Sign Galiardi, Moss, or Konopka, if we only have 1 mil *Move Matthias from 4th line to 3rd and sign Emmerton or Steckel if we only have 550k *Horvat makes the team Replace Lack as backup goalie with: *Sign whoever the best UFA goalie is that`s leftover in September to a PTO.. Thomas, Brodeur, Bryzgalov, Vokoun *PTO guy, Markstrom, and Eriksson battle it out for the backup job *If the veteran goalie wins the backup spot, depending who plays better between Lack-Markstrom, trade one and send one to AHL *If the veteran doesnt make it, cut him and put one Swede in as backup, the other starts in the AHL 56 of 76 games, Cannata 20 *Another option is to get back Enroth Lieuwen or Hackett in Buffalo trade to be our backup Even Strength: Sedin Sedin Vrbata Burrows Bonino Kassian Higgins Ott Vey Matthias Richardson Dorsett *Sestito Jensen Hamhuis Myers Edler Tanev Sbisa Bieksa *Stanton Weber Miller Brodeur *Eriksson or Markstrom in farm with Cannata, trade the other for a 3rd *I believe that Bieksa should not be a top 4 dman next year *I believe Stanton should be a number 7 guy, not 6 *I believe the best way to get Edler back on his game is to pair him up with Tanev *Only way to do this is to get a first pairing Dman on right side PP: Vrbata Sedin Sedin Myers Edler Kassian Bonino Higgins Bieksa Hamhuis PK: Richardson Burrows Matthias Ott Higgins Dorsett Bonino Vrbata Hamhuis Myers Sbisa Tanev Edler Biekssa *This year we put our top 2 lines plus Higgins on the PP (no Burrows) *We put our bottom two lines plus Burrows as well on the PK instead of guys like the Sedins *Ice time will work out great.. When your 4th line is Booth Dalpe Sestito, they cant play special teams.. Matthias Richardson and Dorsett are too good to play 5 minutes a game.. With 2-4 mins on PK and 8-9 mins even strength, theyll total 11+ mins a game Sedin-16 mins+4 mins PP Sedin-16 mins+4mins PP Vrbata-16 mins+3 mins PP+1 min SH Burrows-13 mins+1 min PP+3 mins SH Bonino-13 mins+3 mins PP+1 min SH Higgins-11 mins+2 mins PP+2 min SH Kassian-13 mins+2 mins PP Ott-11 mins+2 mins SH Vey-11 mins+1 min PP Matthias-8 mins+1 min PP+2 mins SH Richardson-8 mins+3 mins SH Dorsett-8 mins+2 mins SH Myers-18 mins+3 mins PP+3 mins SH Hamhuis-18 mins+2 mins PP+3 mins SH Edler-16 mins+3 mins PP+1 min SH Tanev-16 mins+3 mins SH Bieksa-14 mins+2 mins PP+2 min SH Sbisa-14 mins+2 mins SH Shootout Attempts: Vrbata-10 Bonino-8 Burrows-5 Vey-4 Jensen-3 Higgins-2 Kassian-2 Edler-1 Matthias-1 Fox-1 Shinkaruk-1 Kenins-1 Gaunce-1 Miller 57 games, Brodeur-Thomas 25 games or Miller 60 games, Bryzgalov-Vokoun 22 games or Miller 67 games, Markstrom 15 games or Miller 70 games, Eriksson 12 games *If Lack stays with the team, he sees close to 30 games *Hope Cannata doesnt see almost half the games in the AHL again.. Cannata 26 games, Eriksson or Markstrom 50 games *Best scenario: Markstrom 35 games, Eriksson 30 games, Cannata 11 games+40 games in the ECHL

BOHORVAT53
-This year with Sedins playing less then a minute on the PK, 70% of the PP time, taking more offensive draws, finally for first time in their career, a bonafide 2nd line player (Sure a first liner would have been nice, but we are making progress).. they should be 82+ point players -We got scored on very often when we had to match our 4th line against their 4th, or 3rd vs 3rd... That matchup plus Edler on the ice was a recipe for disaster.. This year our depth will be much much better, therefore our bottom two lines will be scoring more then the other team.. Our 4th liners are all capable of getting 15 goals Booth Richardson Matthias and Sestito Dalpe Schroder VERSUS Higgins Vey Hansen and Matthias Richardson Dorsett -Our bottom 6 guys are players that can actually play on the PP and SH.. therefore they wont be 5 minute a game guys... they will play double digit minutes.. that means no Sedins on PK, and no 25 minute games like Kesler and Santo did -If Edler and Tanev get paired up together, Edler will be a brand new dman.. No more zone defensive.. He plays much better with man to man.. therefore he will be hammering guys once again.. as a 2nd pairing, they will get weaker forwards to play against, so expect to see Edler pinching a lot more this year.. With Tanev back there, even if he gets caught, He will be bailed out. Expect 35+ points and a plus rating this year
BOHORVAT53
No way any of that is gonna happen. Why not... We want Myers.. We really really need that puck moving dman.. Its so important in the game today.. We need to replace Garrisons point production as well.. Not only that, we need 50+ more points from the backline.. With a puck moving dman, I think Sedins and the forwards benefit huge from that Id love to deal Lack+Hansen+Gaunce+2nd for Myers.. plus sign Ott, Setoguchi, or Winnik for the 3rd line Dont you think that would make our roster complete.. I think with that roster we would finish in 6th ahead of San Jose
