DoughtysCheck Posted September 25, 2016 Share Posted September 25, 2016 It was a tough decision shipping out Granlund but we felt it was time he got a fresh start. This season, we tried him on every single line from first to fourth, from center to left wing but nothing clicked. His point production was at an all time low and when we were paying him 6.5 mil a season, we just couldn't afford that. He thank him for his years of service helping the Minnesota Wild get to the top of the standings in year 2 and year 3 of RGMG and wish him the best of luck in Brooklyn With that, we welcome Matthew Barzal into the team. We hope he has the potential to be in a top 6 role in the near future. With similar point productions as Granlund this year, we feel we still have a good chance of making the playoffs while retooling for the future.
