Re: role claims in this game - unless they are blatant lies, D1 is usually too early to do more than propose potentialities. Is 112 the PGO? I would guess yes, as that's the kind of role someone might claim early to self-clear. It might also not be, as it's a simple one to invent to deflect attention. I'm inclined to believe Zfetch's claim, as it's just way too specific and supported by MH's exit from the game.

 

Neither really proves their alignment, though. Looking at purely gameplay, Zfetch's so far seems green to me, whereas 112's game puts her pinkish in my books so far, for reasons I've not thought about hard enough to elocute.

The last bit makes me feel like Jazz is mafia and he knows GEP isn't, so he's is already coming up with alternative explanations

Meh I'd still feel more confident lynching GEN than MR.

 

I'm gonna take a look at past games and see if I can see major differences in activity/characters(I was too lazy to do by words) when someone is mafia

 

Particularly interested in Bpgula because he totally had me fooled when he was mafia 2 games ago

I'd predict that players generally have higher character counts per post when they're mafia. i.e. most of their content is delivered all at once as opposed to sporadically. 

 

I know I used to be guilty of this but I actively tried to avoid doing that in my past few games as wolf.

I think your conclusions are showing what a lot of us have noticed about a scum mindset: the goal seems to be trying to find that sweet spot in activity level.

 

My list of who is trying to slide by with surface-level game-related posts would have been (and still is): Kryten, falcon, WW, J23, GEN, Stamkos, and jazz. Your graph supports this list fairly closely. I'm ignoring luckylager as he's new.

 

Some of those players (GEN, Stamkos, falcon) seem to be posting noticeably less than last game. (I've not actually checked to see if my impression of this is valid - I stopped paying attention after I was mislynched last game.) Either they're reverting to normal meta (except GEN) or they were beginning to flourish and now have something to hide.

 

A lynch pool of 7 is a bit large, though. I'll see if I can narrow it down.

I'm getting too heavy on the tin-foil but if MR is mafia and GEP isn't, then precisely right now is when MR's teammates will likely try to save him by voting GEP. This is another reason I'm suspicious of that Jazz vote.

I usually post lots of characters. I'm actually a bit disappointed in myself that I fall so firmly in the middle of your graph. I didn't expect to be one of the 'big 5' like you this game, but I sort of assumed I'd still be up there.

LOL. I think it was called "Fetchies".

All I did was categorize people based on random categories I thought and pick the scummiest of each group and tally it. More of feelings than analytics lol.
But I will check past games and see the differences soon.
