Meanwhile, TBay has Hedman, McDon, Sergachev & Cernak LOCKED IN under 23 mill, for the next two seasons. Under 6 mill each? Not to mention, every depth player signs there for prob 300-700k less than they'd demand to play in Canada. Likely never see a sustainable contender built in Canada, ever again. The biz side is just a fancy, rigged scam. Hot tanned young beach blonde bikini babes are a big selling point and being able to come to the rink in shorts and slides. Not having to pay state taxes also helps. American teams will always be the favorites to win in hockey.

Barrie has played for 3 teams and has never even approached an acceptable standard of play in his own zone. He has proven over the long-term than he has zero chance of ever being a legit NHLer, and I'm looking forward to playing against that pylon again going forward.
