Gillis was reviled by the end of his tenure, and everybody was clamouring for JB. 7 years later his reputation was incredibly mixed at best and after the disastrous start to last season nearly everyone wanted him gone. Also, people do have a tendency to change their opinion as time goes by and more information becomes available. I mean, this forum doesn't represent the entire fanbase. And yes, there may have been people who didn't like both by the end of their tenure, and that's entirely fair given how both of them finished off here.
