I find it easy to look back on and enjoy anything from the 1982 and 1994 playoffs.  It's like watching the first Rocky movie.  Rocky doesn't beat Apollo but he doesn't have to.

 

As for 2011...kind of different.  Not sure what would be the counterpart there.

The elbow didn’t need to happen if they called the multiple muggings that Bure had endured right before.

In some respects, the 2011 Canucks were like the 94 Rangers (finished first, expected to go distance), and the ‘94 Canucks were like the 2011 Bruins (big, nasty to play against, underdogs), except the NHL let the 2011 Bruins play their game, and didn’t let the ‘94 Canucks play their game (judging by when and the types of penalties were called each game of the finals).
