  1. Serious question...do you keep bread, english muffins, etc in the fridge or not to avoid mould?

      I do almost year-round since I live in a pretty warm place (ex: it's going to hit highs of 38C+ everyday this week). When I lived in cooler temps I used to keep bread out in the spring/fall/winter and only refrigerate in the summer. The bread will mold anyway, but refrigeration seems to slow it down dramatically.

      I echo Ghost.  Keep it frozen, and only use what you need.  Nuke it for a bit, and it's fresh as the day it was baked.  Then you have ZERO chance for mold, and you don't waste any.  

      Or just by Meba Toast and croutons.  :lol:

      keep muffin outside wrapped up, but bread and english muffin in the fridge if I'm not using them, so they stay fresh.
