    Just saw Ferland *LTIR* on capfriendly.

     

    Keep him there until late Jan/early Feb, would be smart.

      I think teams are allowed to do this retroactively so not sure it means a longer stay on IR for Ferkie. He's in a non-contact jersey now.

      ^Yep. This was just to allow us to get Chatfield up and stay cap compliant.

      Just get him to say, "Yeah, still dizzy with light headaches, after workouts."..& continue saying this until late Jan.

       

      It gives him more time to rest up(esp his noggin) for the grueling spring wars. If other big salaries have to go LTIR, he can always come back a little sooner.
