Intoewsables
Average height for a 14-year-old male is 5'3" ... Average height for a 25-year-old male is 5'10" ... Everyone grows differently, obviously, some hit growth spurts early, some later, but most will grow several inches between 14 and 22 ... Exactly, that's my point. G.K. Chesterton
I have a offer.... Currently my only starter is Miller Rinne, Michael Leighton, raycroft are my others... I was offered...Brodeur and Callahan For Miller Tavares Deal or no deal? Hell no. I picked Brodeur with my 2nd pick and I've been paying for it ever since. Squeak
Hell no. I picked Brodeur with my 2nd pick and I've been paying for it ever since. Someone in my pool picked Kovalchuk and Brodeur with their first two picks. Needless to say, they are dead last in the pool.
G.K. Chesterton
I need a bit of help. This trade has been proposed to me. Keep in mind I already have S. Mason, Ward and Rask. To me: Burrows Thomas To him: Nash Clowe I view it as basically Nash for Thomas because although Clowe is on a hot streak he and Burrows are fairly similar players as both get a good deal of points and PIM. Personally I would do the trade.... Clowe is on a HOT streak - sell him while he's high. Burrows will get you the points to make up for it. Nash hurts to lose BUT you can flip one of your other goalies for another player at any time.

It'd probably be either Mason or Rask. In some of the bigger leagues (I think we've got 14) it's difficult to get a decent starter or even a decent backup so they might be able to bring back something good in return. In my pool, every decent goalie is taken since every needs 3 due to injuries and GP. So any decent goalie (Mason or Rask for example) could fetch you a decent return. Fowler is getting #1 PP unit time, playing 20+ minutes a game and seems to be getting better every game. Doughty and Green should not be dropped from any pool. Edler is a keeper as well.
