Goaltending Woe's and the New Fourth Line

Los Angeles, California - Goaltending is still the biggest concern in Los Angeles. Nicklas Backstrom continues to ride the pine, as Garon puts on a show as the starter. Rookie goalies Zatkoff and Martin Jones won't be NHL ready for a few seasons, and neither look to be starting goaltender prospects as of right now. What will Los Angeles do? Trade assets to aquire a true starter? General Manager BananaMash says that as of this moment, that is not the first choice for his club:

"I feel we have assets that organizations may be interested in, that could possibly bring us a starting goaltender. However, Garon is playing better than expected currently, so as of right now unless the right deal comes a long we are more than okay with staying put."

We also took a moment to ask General Manager BananaMash about the new fourth line, which is sporting an entirely different cast than a few weeks ago.

"It's not that Kopecky was terrible on the fourth, his contract versus what he brought to team just didn't work for us" Said the L.A. Kings GM, "Nilsson is another experiment, but we have a good feeling about him"
