Great song regardless of the genre we pigeonhole it into.

It's like the protest song of Crenshaw, CA where Ice-T grew up. Certainly not Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan or Joan Baez, but, a protest song, none the less.

The protest of it was definitely more in the spirit of punk than hippie (more aggressive/abrasive).

I wonder if he was just pandering to popular ghetto sentiment or if he truly believed what he was singing. He sounds quite passionate in his delivery.

Master p and that arse clown Mystical are one of the main reasons I stopped listening to Rap. The fact that the name was so close to Master T only made it worse. Little trivia, what was the name he gave to the keyboard he talked to?
