pretty sure he hit him in the nose with his elbow which he chicken winged out as he skated by his head

THe one i saw had Sedin breeze by with a elbow while Brown was already down.

Benning will be fired next year. Hope he enjoys screwing around for a few months. I just cant believe this. Another injured BC player. We just got rid of garrison. Seems like the canucks and linden just wanted any BC born player. Doesn't matter if hes good or not. We don't need another Linden to get us to game 7 of the Stanley cup and lose. We need someone to win us a cup.

5 million a year for Vrbata? 6 million for Miller? Kesler for Bonino and 24th instead of 10th pick or one of their top prospects? Garrison for scraps?

ive already lost faith in JB. Ive never EVER had this bad of a feeling about management.

Lu did play well but Cory is playing at another level. He's given up 2 goals in 2 full games and tonight was 43/44 for a .977 sv% that's unreal!!!

NO coach in the NHL would sit a goalie playing like that in the playoffs.

You play the hotest one. That is it.

Win or lose I was really happy to see Daniel back. But rather than just showing up, he and brother Henrik took over this game and played some of their best hockey in months. The saves before Henrik's insurance marker made me think Quick might be able to steal this one, which is probably why I cheered extra hard when Hank made it count. And Schneider was sparkling.

no. nux were totally outplayed in 1st two gms.

Outshot 2-1 thrugh 2 periods,,1 goal allowed on the most shots allowed in the series. Multiple give aways and a penalty shot.
We played much better through 2 periods in game 2 than tonight, but with 3 seonds left in the 1st Canucks turned it over and Cory made a huge save,,that save was the one that saved our season. I doubt like hell L.A would have scored 3 on Cory in either of the 1st 2 games.

Sutter: said the difference was 22 and 33, says they (the Kings) played a better game than game 3. Now he's whining about having a 3 day break

That's interesting! It's way better than ranga (orangutan), or is that just the Aussie-ism? All redheads get called ranga here, (I hope it's just a phase). I understand being sick of being named for your hair colour though and not his sporting ability, but I hope he understands it's meant as an endearment :)Love your work Shneider!

How about that Sammy Pahlsson guy huh?

17:59 minutes of ice time and 15:43 5-on-5 minutes - that's 3rd most on our forward group only after the Sedins. This guy can shut down whoever is on the ice at any time.

This is why we got him - Pahlsson gives us 18 minutes of mistake-free suffocating hockey and we rely on the Sedins and Kesler to a lesser extent to score goals.

Tonight everybody played their role - goaltending was great, Sedins scored on the PP and the bottom 6 shut down the other team when needed. Other than the one fatal mistake by Raymond, the team bailed each other out.

Well said, except fortunately reports of their death were at least somewhat exaggerated.

if he loses it the season is over anyways lol

Seeing even one bad start in net likely means the end for the Canucks this season, the best case scenario seems more likely now to involve 3 more wins in a row with Schneider in net. Of course, there are other possible scenarios, and should they make it to the next round against the odds, almost anything could happen in the next round.

Finally. Dan's presence made a bigger difference than I thought and Schneider started which I am happy it did but didn't think they would. Also, it was good to see them throwing pucks on the net in a consistent manner rather than passing and looking for a perfect shot. We killed of the penalties good, was still concerned with a couple bad penalties we took like that extra shot that Edler took which was so blatant and when it was still 2-1.

...yeah, I could see him being less motivated if he feels he isn't 100%.. he's such a jerk though I'm hoping his hatred of the other team motivates him back into form.

Ephesians 2:7-9

"That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
