... whose face I can't seem to recall? I mean every time I see him I always ask ... whose he again? Then I say to myself oh he's Dan Hamhuis.

This is strange because his one of the top D-Men in the Canucks Line Up but I can't seem to have a photographic memory of his face unlike the others like Luongo, Sedins, Bieksa, Kesler, Higgins, Lapierre, Salo, and even Rome.

Is it just me?

Maybe because he stands alone in consistency.

He is our best d man. Very close to Elite. He will be paired with Weber in 2014 olympics

I know how he looks, he has really red cheeks all the time

Plus he's never in the middle of anything so that could be a reason

He does everything right in a quite manner, you probably wouldn't remember Salo's face either but you do because of his injuries.

Hamhuis is one of the most underrated defensemen in the league, and maybe even on the Canucks.

Love to get one more solid d-man to go with hammer.

If you like looking at statistics to determine who's better, you're just a casual fan.

2.41 season GAA isn't very impressive. Let's not get into playoffs and his SV%.

Cory Schneider is the next Patrick Roy.

I think you have that the other way around.

My guess is that Hamhuis doesn't get the same kind of camera attention that other players get (Bieksa is always doing interviews, they always mention Salo's injuries, etc.)

because he's does his job quietly, he's just as good as any other top D man in the league, which makes him very Underated.

What league are we talking about? The nacho eating league?
I think it's widely known he's a solid defensemen. When we first signed him it was huge news. He also took a pay cut.
If anyone thinks he's underrated they're not paying attention, or have the nacho eating league mixed up with the NHL. He gets plenty of credit.
He's not talked about as much because he doesnt do a disappearing act.

Hamhuis doesn't throw himself at penalizing situation's and he happens to be the most consistent D-man on our team.

I love that guy, and thats to Penguinscanfly for the HOAC vid i just watched the 4 parts, hammer is a great guy Im so glad we have him :)
Always will love and support Cody Hodgson, great player, great potential great character, and I don't care about those stupid rumours about the trade. And we lost him, what a dissapointment. Love you COHO, forever a canuck in my heart!

One day Luongo will raise Lord Stanley's cup.
And show all those haters that he is the amazing goalie that he is.
No matter what jersey he wears, I will always be cheering for Luongo.

Forever Believe.
