First - neither MG, nor Luongo, nor his agent have indicated that Luongo has only accepted to go to Florida - in fact that false report has been specifically refuted by Luongo's agent - people still parroting that have not done their homework, or are simply putting false lobbying fodder into the airwaves. Second, the Canucks are not going to take an underachieving salary dump in exchange for Luongo - so spare us the Komisarek v2.0 proposals suggesting an undersized 4.5 million dollar center is coming this way. The Canucks are in the market for a third line power center, not a 4.5 million temporary playmaker to take Kesler's place, who is then a misfit in the roster in a few months, and an umovable cap hit. Schroeder is a much, much better short term option. Dream on Leafs fans, and keep on lowballing...we've heard enough versions of this nonsense already.
