Time to clear the cupboards and restock the depth. None of these guys are big losses. People may raise their eyebrows at letting MAG go but he was a throw in. Kassian was the main piece of that deal. i would like to see Pinizzotto get another shot. He was lookin pretty good until his injury.

Gragnani was a plug. Not sure why we moved Sulzer for him. Sulzer showed he was at least reliable depth. After watching Grags play I often wondered what he was doing. Coughed up the puck alot even in the offensive zone where he was supposed to be good, seemed out of sorts on the pp (would see him down low at the post often),not to mention his horrific defensive play.

He can skate thats about it. So who cares. Duco would have liked to have back for depth but I guess we must have plans for that in place, and would have liked to see Parent kept as depth as well but I guess this means they feel guys like Connaughton, Sauve/Corrado are ahead of him....

So each passing day with absolutely no hockey being played makes you know more about Kassian? ...who came from a deal for a player who didn't want to be here? What exactly is your role in the Canucks organization?

> The Cody trade is looking worse with each passing day.

So naive...

1. Kassian is a year behind Hodgson in development.

2. So, you don't compare him to Hodgson of this year, you compare him to Hodgson of last year.

3. Last year, Hodgson had 2 NHL points and was a middling AHL player (0.58ppg).

4. This year, Kassian had 10 NHL points and was a near-dominant player (0.87ppg) in the AHL.

5. Hodgson plays a position we have two trophy winners playing already.

6. Kassian plays a position we need.
