A couple of my players have done amazing after coming over in a trade during the season,

1. Ville Leino, had 14 pts in 34 games with SJ, comes to Boston, playing on the third line gets 17 pts in 26 games

2. David Perron has 3 goals in 4 games as a Bruin playing on the second line!

And 3. Bobby Butler, 2 goals in 6 games on the 4th line

The Detroit Red Wings are ecstatic to welcome a top-calibre player in Zach Parise! We were thoroughly impressed with his performance and leadership in his series against the Kings and he was one of the key players we coveted. His chemistry with former teammates Patrik Elias and Travis Zajac were also major factors in our interest in him. The Wings look forward to a making a strong playoff push/run every year with Zach as one of our go-to players.

On the other hand, the Red Wings must regretfully part with our star prospects in Markus Granlund and Olli Maata, and veteran players Bryan Allen and Andrew Brunette. We literally tried every avenue we could think of to keep Markus a Red Wing while getting Zach, but it ultimately proved to be impossible. We wish Granlund, Maata, Allen, and Brunette all the best in Carolina.
