I don't know, it's not in my trash -.-

So I know I haven't updated in a solid week or two but that's because I've been very very busy and I highly doubt I'll update this weekend either because I'm heading out later as it's my mum's birthday, and then on Saturday I'm away at UBC for most of the day, and then on Sunday it's the Super Bowl and on top of that I have a big project to finish by Monday

and as it is, here is the order of priority

1. SUPER BOWL
2. PROJECT
3. MUM'S BDAY
4. UBC

5. SIMS

Sorry :sadno:

I have everything simmed just haven't updated yet :(

And he improved a lot defensively as well! One of the favorites for CHL Player of the Year. Is he the first defenseman in WHL history to lead the league in points?

Lorents with a decent first year by the looks of it; certainly not bad for a 4th line rookie.

After a terrible 2nd season in Boston, former Seattle Thunderbirds defenseman Ibrahim Moizoos informed GM Peter Chiarelli that he requests to be traded. The end of season interview between player and management did not go well after Moizoos regressed from a 20 point rookie season. The lack of on ice success by the team, as well as the questionable use of the 1st overall pick led the young player to wonder if Boston was the best place for his development.

Moizoos was quoted after the meeting saying "These obnoxious lobster eating idiots are ruining my career, and I want to get out before I end up playing in some 3rd tier German league" strong words from a player known to keep his composure on the ice, one can only wonder where he'll end up, but his preferred destination would likely be Colorado, his favorite team as a youth.

OHL STANDINGS

2nd in OHL, 1st in Eastern Conference, 1st in East Division, Oshawa Generals - 41-21-6, 88 points, 2 points behind 1st. 1st for G/G (3.65) and 6th for GA/G (2.9). T-8th for PP% (19.3%), 3rd for PK% (85.1%).

After losing Wolfgang Jagerbomb, Owen Sound went from OHL Finals to last in the OHL.

London went from 1st in the OHL, lost Douglass and MacLeod, then exited in the first round but still made the Memorial Cup via host, were the runners ups but then they lost TcGee, and the loss of the big three of Ben Douglass, Josh MacLeod, and Mits TcGee seriously hurt London as they placed 4th worst in the OHL.

Oshawa, led by Patrick Luongo, 2nd in the OHL for points, and the OHL's leading point scorer Tyler Biggs finished 2nd in the OHL.

Disappointing season for Scorgolev. Hopefully it's just a case of a player with nothing left to learn at the junior level. Off to the AHL now I suppose.

WHL STANDINGS

2nd in WHL, 1st in Eastern Conference, 1st in Central Division, Medicine Hat Tigers - 46-21-5, 97 points, 1 point ahead of 3rd, and 19 points behind 1st. 1st for G/G (3.67) and 5th for GA/G (2.9). T-5th for PP% (22.2%) and 13th for PK% (79.1%)

5th in WHL, 2nd in Eastern Conference, 1st in East Division, Regina Pats - 39-26-7, 85 points, 31 points behind 1st, and 12 points behind 2nd. 12th for G/G (3.04) and 4th for GA/G (2.83). 7th for PP% (22.1%), and 4th for PK% (82.9%)

3rd in WHL, 2nd in Western Conference, 2nd in U.S. Division Portland Winterhawks - 46-22-4, 96 points, 23 points behind 1st, 1 point behind 2nd. 3rd for G/G (3.56) and 2nd for GA/G (2.47). 9th for PP% (21.8%), 3rd for PK% (84.2%).

Huge Huge Huge turnaround year for Portland, if you compare with their squad from last season they jumped up 23 points, 12 spots in the WHL, scored .46G/G more, and went from T-12th for G/G to 2nd, and went from 15th for GA/G to 2nd. PK went from 6th worst to 3rd.

Portland did exactly what Medicine Hat did the year before, went from terrible to amazing. They can repeat what Medicine Hat did exactly by winning the Memorial Cup

Seattle coming up

1st in WHL, 1st in Western Conference, 1st in U.S. Division Seattle Thunderbirds - 54-11-7, 115 PTS, Finished 16 points ahead of 2nd place, and 59 points ahead of last. 1st for G/G (4.04), 0.18G/G more than the second highest scoring team. 1st for GA/G (2.14), 0.65GA/G less than the second best team for GA/G. 1st for PP% (27.2%), 6.9% higher than the next best Power Play. 1st for PK% (87.7%), 4.6% higher than the next best Penalty Kill

Statswise, it seems they regressed by the slimmest of margins, scoring a bit less goals and allowing a few more, however I'm sure that's due to Moizoos's departure for Boston
Special teams wise the team did improve, so that looks pretty good.

I'd say Seattle is a heavy favorite for WHL Champs[/center]

1st in WHL, 1st in Western Conference, 1st in U.S. Division Seattle Thunderbirds - 56-12-4, 116 PTS, Finished 19 points ahead of 2nd place, and 52 points ahead of last. 2nd for G/G (3.56), 0.02G/G less than the highest scoring team. 1st for GA/G (2.15), 0.32GA/G less than the second best team for GA/G. 14th for PP% (19.1%). 2nd for PK% (84.4%), 1.5% less than the best Penalty Kill

Seattle improved by 1 point in the overall record however they regressed a lot goal scoring wise, scoring 0.5 G/G less than what they had scored the season before. Power Play dropped a huge 8 percent and went from 1st to 14th. Clearly the losses of Fir Lorents (CHL Player of the Year) and Steven Seagull hurt Seattle's goal scoring a whole lot, but it allowed Sanchez Osborne to step it up and for Mike Shamrock to lead the way.

QMJHL STANDINGS

10th in QMJHL, 3rd in Maritimes Division, Saint John Sea Dogs - 36-27-5, 77 points, 17 point behind 1st. 2nd for G/G (3.38) and 9th for GA/G (3.15). 8th for PP% (19.6%), 12th for PK% (78.3%).

2nd in QMJHL, 1st in East Division, Rimouski Océanic - 41-20-7, 89 points, 5 points behind 1st, 6 points ahead of 3rd. 9th for G/G (3.16) and T-2nd for GA/G (2.66). 6th worst for PP% (18.7%) and 4th for PK% (82.1%)

5th in QMJHL, 3rd in East Division Quebec Remparts - 39-24-5, 83 PTS, 11 points behind 1st, 6 points behind 2nd. 1st for G/G (3.66) and 12th for GA/G (3.26). 2nd for PP% (25.1%), 8th for PK% (79.8%).

Rimouski and Quebec seems to have had bounceback seasons. Quebec tied for 3rd (points-wise) and Rimouski did very well this season, placing 2nd. Saint John fell 10 points though.

Halifax did quite well even though they lost QMJHL Player of the Year Chimon Midorima. Finished 6th in the Q.

Niklas Kromwall and the Red Wings fell 15 points this season

Fir Lorents, Josh MacLeod and the Devils fell 8 points into last place in the NHL

Moizoos and the Bruins improved 8 points but still missed the playoffs

Pretty brutal seasons for our C-A-Ps once again. None of the C-A-Ps will advance to the NHL Playoffs

Uh...? 1st in the QMJHL for goals, 3rd in the Q for points is disappointing?? o.O

Considering Mikhail regressed in virtually every statistical category, I'd say it's pretty disappointing. Not writing him off from ever playing in the NHL or anything like that, but I was hoping he'd take another step forward in his development this season and it didn't happen. Saint John was a much worse team this season, but as an overager I was expecting a little more. That's all.
