The problem is he should have been aggressively trying to do that in summer, and not count on getting it through a Luongo trade. At the very least have a plan B to fill that hole in the meantime. Now the cost is going to be way more to fill that hole than it would have been in the summer. I think some people would even take Arnott at this point. At least he's not an AHLer.
