Thinking probably NYR or Dallas

But imagine if Chicago gets eliminated early and fires Quenneville and then hires AV. Quenneville then goes to Van. :frantic:

i miss rome here too...solid stay at home D......i'll miss AV too....a very good coach whose time ran out here...we owe him a lot .
i could see by ballard's give aways, why AV chose rome over him.....that's not rocket science....

He'll take over for Phoenix when Tippet leaves and sit hoping that the team goes to Quebec

Possible teams Dallas, Pheonix, Nashville may want a change, I just don't see an Eastern Conference team taking AV unless maybe Philly, because Philly does weird things.

Trevor Linden Quote Nov. 29th 2012 [Asked if he would return to the game?]
"The game has been with me for a long time, if the right opportunity came about, you never know"

"You don't know this, but Trevor Linden had cracked ribs and torn rib cartilage for the last four games of the 1994 Stanley Cup Final," Cliff Ronning said. "You can't imagine what it's like to hear your captain, in a room down the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs as they injected the needle into his rib cage. Knowing him, he probably thought we couldn't hear. He would then walk into our dressing room like nothing had happened. That was inspirational."

Nashville may want a change

Very doubtful given the fact this was the first season without Suter. Look how little money they spend there. Trotz is the most successful coach in the NHL considering what he has to work with.

If he was going to be fired, it would have happened by now.

Which ever team it is, I honestly hope he doesn't end up kicking us out of a playoff round with his team.

I'm wondering if every team that needs a coach might give AV a call. In other words, he might have the pick of the litter. He could wait till the end of the 2nd round to see if Chicago opens up. But that would be super weird if Q and AV played musical chairs. They would know each other's secrets and make the rivalry that much more complex.

If AV goes to dallas it is only fair that we trade Ebbett there too.

Kevin Fiala will be a star.

Rome understood that AV playing Ebbett was his best chance of AV being fired and being available to take the Dallas job. He understands that the cheating was done out of love.

I can see Dallas, NYR also makes sense, as they are built for AVs defense first style, I cant see teams with a lot of youth being interested as he seems like he has a tendency not to promote development in young players. Minnesota might be a possibility, again they are built towards AVs coaching style.
