He can just makeup his pick when or if he shows up. I disagree, I'd rather somebody go over the roster and make the best pick possible for the team. There isn't enough of a rush to penalize somebody that hasn't joined the league. I have a serious problem with screwing somebody out of a 1st because they basically don't have a GM. I would skip him if he isn't going to be fired. His fault he didn't show up. If he is fired, I'd pause the draft and allow the new GM a day or two to make their selection. Either way I don't think this is a huge problem since we don't have a time limit and the league will probably start sometime in December (my guess). Not drafting for a week is a bit excessive though. You DO realize its likely going to take a AT LEAST a few weeks before the re-rates are done; especially if only *VC*, Chimon & Co. are doing them all. and we all know that if we set a time and date for the draft to be done; it'll be done by that time, especially with the active group we have. - You guys have done drafts in as quick as 3 days.
