7thMan
The Canucks want the first round pick from Florida. Florida reportedly wants a top 8 pick, a young defenseman and another player in return. Anaheim wants Kesler. So, a trade could look like... Kesler to Anaheim 6th overall pick, Sbisa and Silfverberg to Florida 1st overall pick, 10th overall pick to Vancouver Anaheim is getting Kesler for the 10th, Sbisa and Silfverberg; Florida is getting the 6th, Sbisa and Silfverberg for their 1st overall; and Vancouver is getting the 1st and 10th in exchange for Kesler. What do you think? Should we call Benning and let him know?
Tom Sestito
Florida could get more.
Salter
I don't know too much about Sbisa but it looks like he could be a defenseman Florida would like. Plus they add the 6th and Silfverberg so I feel like it would be fair for them. Anaheim may not do it for only Kesler returning but still seems fairly close. Once again, I don't know too much about these Anaheim guys. And Vancouver also gets a fair return. Good job!
YEGCanuck
I think you're onto to something with this proposal. A nice tidy little three-way. It looks feasible for everyone.
MRAY
Well done as I was thinking about doing a proposal with a 3 way trade that would include VAN,FLA,ANA, but looks like I dont need to. Get Benning's attention!
canucks155
One of the better proposals regarding the 1st. I think Florida might want a different dman but I think Sbisa would be enough for them. +1 from me.
Hockey Stache
I'm not sure I would do this deal if I was Benning. You are really trading Kesler for the 1st overall and to move back four spots in the draft. If the Canucks were able to get the 10th pick plus Sbisa and Silfverberg they should just walk away. That would be a steal for the Canucks. But then to turn around and trade both those young players and your own higher draft pick does not make sense. Wiznac
I like that we wouldn't have to give up Tanev or Shinkaruk......... So Ya I'd do it

Kesler will be 30 in August and is a second line center. Reinhart has the capacity to be a Jonathan Teows type franchise player and will almost certainly surpass Kesler in value. Reinhart is from Vancouver, too. He's the perfect guy to build around going forward. The guys we would get at 6 and 10 *could* end up being key guys, but they won't be the kind of guys who can come in next season and make a difference. silver_surfer
Looks good to me. It's been a long long time since vancouver has won a trade (best player acquired) and with the 1st overall it would be a pretty solid bet to come away with that. Perhaps a tweak to be added? To Edm, 1st Overall To Van , 2nd Overall, Min 2nd rd 2014 To Buff, 3rd Overall, Edm 2nd rd 2015 Van trades 1st overall to Edm for 3rd and 2nd rd pick 2015 Van trades 3rd overall and 2nd rd 2015 to Buff for 2nd overall and 49th overall. Van has 2nd(Reinhardt), 10th(Virtanen), 36th(Dougherty), 49th(Smith)
Canada Hockey Place
It's good. Just to be greedy, how about? ANA: Kesler FLA: 1st (10), Sbisa, Silfverberg VAN: 1st (1) ^ VAN keeps 1st (6)

Mr.53
I also made a proposal in a thread about a three a potential three way deal a while ago. It was something like To VAN: 1st overall, 10th overall, Shea Theodore To FLO: 6th overall, Jason Garrison, Emerson Etem To ANA: Ryan Kesler, Jordan Schroeder. But anyway, I like this proposal too. I find a three way proposal to be an interesting way that you can manage to kind of flip Kesler for the first overall without actually sending him to Florida. I hope JB has at least discussed the idea with them, but I guess who really knows.
