Time for Studs and Duds for the SJ Sharks - November Edition

Studs

Connor McDavid: He's showing the world that he's the real deal. Leads the NHL in  points in just his second season.

Mitch Marner: He continues to impress. While everyone had their eyes on Matthews, it's been Marner that's stealing the show in TO.

William Karlsson: He's been steadily putting up points as his RL Blue Jackets continue to surprise.

Duds

Zemgus Girgensens: He has plenty of potential, but has struggled to show it.

Nikolai Kulemin: The RL Islanders have really struggled, so it's no surprise Kulemin has as well.

Johnny Boychuk: Same reason as Kulemin. He's seeing his teammates pass him on the depth chart as a result.

Still very happy with my team. Youth continues to lead the way, many of which are showing no signs of slowing down. Keep it going Sharks!

Dallas Stars 3 Stars of the Month - (Sponsored by Texas Roadhouse, Cabela's, and Hooters):

1st Star ★: Peter Budaj

Basically the only reason the Dallas Stars are still in a playoff position is due to Peter Budaj's performance in net for the Kings. With 12 wins (tied for 2nd overall), he has not only done a great job proving he can hold is own in the NHL, but has potentially solidified a contract in the NHL for the next couple years. His 105 points this month have made the loss of Jonathan Quick not quite as tragic, which is another reason we are grateful for his play.

2nd Star ★★: Artemi Panarin

Artemi was the very clear 2nd star of the month for the Dallas Stars. With 70 FP in November, he is currently tied for 9th overall in NHL scoring with 21 Points in 24 games. We look forward to a great December and hope Artemi can continue to build on a solid month.

3rd Star ★★★: Sam Gagner

After a slow start to the year in October (14 Fantasy Points), Sam put up 41 Points in November nearly tripling the amount in October. The Blue Jackets look to be having a strong season, and we don't doubt that Sam can continue at the current scoring pace.

Honourable Mentions: Ryan Suter (43 FP), Ondrej Palat (40 FP), and Denis Malgin (33 FP).

Calgary Flames 3 Stars of the Month

1st Star: Tuuka Rask

Rask had a monster month with 8 wins and 2 shutouts. He has a 1.64 GAA and a .938 save percentage on the year. He leads the league in fantasy points with 175 and is looking like a great pick at 30th overall. He is easily be a Vezina candidate through the first quarter.

2nd Star: Zach Werenski

Werenski has been an absolute monster this year. There were question marks if he would even make the team and he is arguably the favourite for the Calder. In November he contributed 3 goals and 7 assists and is easily Calgary's best value pick of the draft with 16 points in 21 games as a D man.

3rd Star: Nick Foligno

Nick Foligno was a risky pick in Round 12 as he makes 5.5 million dollars with a long term deal and only had 37 points last season but he is looking like a steal now. He is a big reason to Columbus' success with 19 points in 21 games and 7 goals and 4 assists this month.

Stuck at the airport cause ferries cancelled :( Boston at the whatever game we're at mark.

Good!

Bobrovsky. Just killing it with 175 points.

Fowler. #2 in team scoring, having a great fantasy year.

Radulov. Top forward, another 11 points today already.

Meh!

Domi. Really expected more but Arizona is shart so maybe that's my fault.

Bad!

Gaudreau. Back from injury today but still, having a garbage year.

All in all, sitting in 11th with top players like Gaudreau having bad years. So, could be worse.

LehteraWe have a trade to announce:

To Vancouver:

Henrik Sedin

Daniel Sedin

2017 Edmonton 1st

To Edmonton:

Tyler Johson

Nick Shore

@Baer.

I would like to thank @MikeyBoy44 for the smooth negotiations and are happy to welcome the Sedins to our team. It was tough to let go of Johnson and Shore, but I believe that it was for the best. We got a replacement centre to make up for the loss of Johnson and a left winger. Not only do we get these generational players, we also get our third first round pick of next years draft.

Sedin-Sedin-Jaskin

Congrats to Rasmus Ristolainen on a 3 point night including the game winning goal in OT and also his first goal in 52 games.

The Dallas Stars are also in the market for a 2nd/3rd pairing defenseman. Would be looking to combo a defenseman already on our roster + a prospect for an upgrade or potentially could look at other options.

Why in the world is going on in Vancouver. We have been slipping mightily over the last few weeks. At one point we were 5th. We are now 15th in the league.

Vancouver Canucks Lineup

Zetterberg-Anisimov-Fast

Hagelin-Wennberg-Brown

Sedin-Sedin-Jaskin

Nieto-Grigorenko-Lehtera (One of Grigorenko/Lehtera will be traded)

Fasching

Martinez-Niskanen

Muzzin-Dumba

Barberio-Braun

Holtby

Hutchinson

All 2017 picks

Italics=Untouchable (Notice how there are none)

Bold=OTB

Bold+Italics=Listening to offers

Nothing=Not likely to trade but will if needed

The canucks are putting anyone on sale to try and gain points. We will NOT take your cap wastes or NMC contracts if we aren't giving one up in return.

I have 3 first round picks. One is likely a lottery pick. These are also on sale for the BEST possible return. Willing to put a pick with a player to make a trade.
