You don't know this player, do you?

He's not 171lb - he's more like 215lb.

Not familiar with him at all, and didn't do any homework.

Just read his stats line in the OP and felt my butt hurt a bit....

hence the rumour but I also heard it from a semi reliable source.

not how it works however.

'I heard it from a semi reliable source' unfortunately isn't credible.   reliable source and posted source = thread.

Don't get me wrong - I'd hope your rumour is true - but needs a reliable source attached to it.

Looks like eliteprospects copied the KHL.  They also have him at 216.

That's a heavy dude for standing 5'10.

I officially take back my first post in this thread.

Go get 'em Jimbo!

you need to post your source

and if you're so familiar with the player and certain it's going to happen, you might have known that he's not a wee 171lb forward.

Would be decent depth considering our team is going to be a tire-fire anyway. It'd allow someone like Virtanen another year in the AHL if need be.

Also, if the recent tank teams have proven anything, you need a good third and also preferably a decent fourth line as well in order to succeed.  A heavy top 6 alone doesn't cut it in today's NHL.

He already admitted it was from a random Reddit post.  Now we're just waiting to see if the thread gets locked as a result.
