The cap continues to rise; and until they get (draft, trade) someone better (ie: 80 point center), Horvat IS the Canucks soon to be #1 center. More importantly, center's, even really good #2's, are worth $5M+ now. That's just the way it works. Time really flies by incredibly quick. Gotta believe young centers like Scheifele and Barkov wish they could go back a year and renegotiate. Increase in salary cap + McDavid's salary = Payday for all young players. I traded Boeser away from my Dynasty keeper league I'm still super sore about that, even worse it was to my brother and he's going to rub it in my face every time I see him.
