Sabres assign Alexander Nylander to the Minors

Sabres were pleased with his efforts in the AHL but we dont really have room for him on the Roster ATM.

He will get a shot later in the upcoming Season for sure.

For now he will get Big Minutes in the AHL again, further the Organisation is curious if he fits well with Victor Olofsson and Rasmus Asplund who comes over from Europe.

Olofsson also could get a shot later in the Season.

Dallas Stars send Radek Faksa and Nick Schilkey to the AHL.  Both under 25 so no waivers.

Getting them some quality minutes with our other prospects.  As we see a few additional veterans moved out we expect them to join the team at some point throughout the year.

The Dallas Stars are ready to make a bigger push this year with the acquisitions of Radulov/Zadorov, re-signing of Nash/Hamhuis, and the continued growth of the young stars like Barkov, Hischier, Guryanov, Scherbak, Lindell and Honka.

The farm now has Nichushkin, Hintz, Schilkey, Faksa and Motte all on the verge of the NHL.  They will likely force the discussion of some veterans like Nash, Hamhuis, Hartnell, and even young players like Ritchie and Janmark getting moved early in the year.  It’s likely that Nuke will help form a fully Russian RW group at some point this year.

In net Reimer will continue to share the load with a new UFA signing until young starters Dipietro and Pugin (The young Nabokov protege) are ready to take over in a few years.

Without any big changes the Stars will likely look like this on opening day:

Nash Barkov Radulov

Kreider Hischier Guryanov

Dzingle McCann Scherbak

Janmark Faksa Ritchie

Lindell Klingberg

Hamhuis Honka

Zadorov Johns

Reimer

UFA

2019-20 Season Outlook

The Blackhawks will go into the season with relatively the same roster. A few key things to look for:

At 35, will Duncan Keith show signs of slowing down?

Nikita Zaitsev, will he be an upgrade on Erik Gustafsson?

Can Connor Brown fit on the 4th line?

Will Pastrnak, Debrincat and Schmaltz improve?

Can Bickell play a full 82 game season and help get Toews and Kane going?
