Only to overpay in free agency and make another half-assed attempt to make the playoffs. There’s no worse position for a team to be in, stuck in the middle of the pack. You need the best players to win and for that you need to draft as high as possible.

I don’t think you understand the importance of drafting as high as you can. We could’ve had Zegras in 2019 but we went on a meaningless late season run and dropped down in the draft, missing out on him by 1 spot. We’re just repeating our mistakes again lol

Not interested. Doesn't fit in our D core and is waay too soft to make a significant impact on D. Rather sign Gardiner. I know Gardiner isn't exactly the best in his own end but if we put him with Tanev I feel he could thrive here.
