    Canucks officially done for the day. No deals to be made. For those of you satisfied. Talk to your friends who cheered for the Flames from 2006 through 2010. Still happy???

      ^that's the worst part of this. I was hoping once that Lu was gone they would at least attempt to start a rebuild, instead we get to float for a few years until the players that we currently have are worth absolutely nothing in hockey terms.

      The problem with draft day is people think magically Kesler will waive his NTC for a dozen more teams than the 5 he was reported to be waiving for today. It won't happen like that. And the return will be far less than the desperate teams wanting to improve today. With a rising cap and solid UFA's as well,teams will be able to improve by spending money, not assets. Less return come draft day.

      The good part about draft day is there is no 12:00 deadline to contend with.
